OBJECTIVES
Wests Group Macarthur Board of Directors primary aim is to provide value to members and guests with quality social facilities and entertainment choices, united with supporting the local community through sporting sponsorship, engagement initiatives and sociocultural development endeavours. The Directors overall objective is to sustain our position as a leading facility in South Western Sydney to ensure our long-term support of junior sports and the wider community in that region and beyond.
Elected to the Board of Directors in 2003, Alan brings a wealth of experience in business banking and financial management. His strong professional background is complemented by an active interest in sport, particularly Rugby League and football. Alan is Chairperson of the Finance, Risk, Audit and Compliance and ex official member of all other committees. Alan is also a long term resident of Campbelltown. His deep community ties and financial expertise continue to guide the organisation’s strategic and fiscal responsibility.

Paul joined the Board in 2003 and brings extensive experience in leadership, politics, and community engagement. A retired Business Manager, he serves as Chairperson of both the Property & Development Committee and Membership Committee. Paul is a Life Member of Wests Tigers Macarthur DJRL and has served the Campbelltown community as a Councillor from 2004 to 2021, including two terms as Mayor and three as Deputy Mayor. He has also been a Director of the South West Sydney Academy of Sport and Disability Macarthur. A proud resident of Campbelltown since 1974, Paul is deeply committed to the continued growth of the region.

Elected to the Board in 1995, Roy combines extensive experience in accounting with a lifelong passion for sport and community service. A Partner at Warby, Hawkins & Partners, he is a member of the Finance, Risk, Audit, and Compliance Committee. Roy is a former player for both Parramatta and the Campbelltown City Kangaroos and remains an active golfer. As a long-term resident of Campbelltown, he continues to contribute his professional expertise and community focus to the Board.
ROY WARBY
Director
Martin, elected to the Board in 2000, is a dedicated advocate for sport and youth development in Western Sydney. As CEO of the Western Sydney Academy of Sport, he leads initiatives that nurture local talent and strengthen community engagement. Martin serves as Chairperson of the Sports Management Committee and as a member of the Membership Committee. He also contributes as a Director at St Gregory’s College Foundation and Regional Academies of Sport (NSW) Inc., and as a member of the St Gregory’s College Advisory Council. A former Rugby League player and Group 6 representative, Martin’s leadership and passion for sport are integral to the Club’s vision.

Elected in 2009, Stephen combines a strong professional background in management with a lifelong commitment to local sport. As NSW/QLD Manager in the furniture industry, he brings business acumen to the Board while remaining deeply connected to community sport through his long history with Magpies Cricket and the Wests Sports Council. Stephen serves on both the Sports Management Committee and the Finance, Risk, Audit, and Compliance Committee. A Life Member and former President of Magpies Cricket Club, he remains an active tennis player and proud Campbelltown resident.
STEPHEN STEWART

With decades of leadership experience in professional sport, Stephen has served on the Board of Directors from 1974 to 1986 and again since 2016. A long-term resident of Campbelltown, Stephen is a member of the Finance, Risk, Audit, and Compliance Committee and brings invaluable expertise from his career as Chief Executive Officer of several major Rugby League clubs, including the Western Suburbs Magpies, Wests Tigers, Sydney Roosters, and Cronulla Sharks. His deep understanding of sports administration and community engagement continues to benefit the Club’s strategic development.
STEPHEN NOYCE

Joining the Board in 2022, Greg offers extensive leadership experience across property development, local government, and community sport. A Realty Director with a deep connection to Camden, Greg is a member of Property & Development Committee and Membership Committee as well as a Wests Property and Development Committee since 2017 and is a member of the Forum of Western Sydney Airport. He is also President of the Camden Rugby League Football Club and a Life Member of Camden Junior Rugby League, Camden High School, and Camden Public School. Greg previously served as a Councillor on Camden Council from 2012 to 2016, demonstrating his longstanding commitment to regional growth and community leadership.
