Wests Welcomes Greg Warren to The Woodlands
It was an absolute pleasure to welcome state member for Campbelltown Greg Warren MP for a tour of The Woodlands at The Sherwood Macarthur this week. Set to become one of Sydney’s largest family entertainment and play destinations, The Woodlands will be an exciting new community asset for Campbelltown and the wider Macarthur region.
Featuring cube-inspired treehouse structures reaching up to 8.8 metres high, interconnected climbing nets, water play, basketball courts, an electronic arcade, a dedicated toddler zone, a giant outdoor screen and a brand-new family café, The Woodlands will deliver a play experience unlike anything currently available in the region.
Toured by Wests Group Macarthur CEO Daniel Perkiss, Venue Manager Julia Maulguet, Group Building Manager Neil Pash and Woodlands Site Manager Jason Williams, Mr Warren had the opportunity to inspect several of the assembled cubes and visit the site gaining a firsthand appreciation of the project’s scale and footprint. He also popped into the Sherwood to view progress on the new family café space currently taking shape.
With construction progressing rapidly, including the milestone of pouring concrete today, excitement is building ahead of the official opening in early 2027.
We would like to thank Greg not only for his visit to The Woodlands but also for his letter of support and commitment to Campbelltown.
